It’s usually a big challenge to decorate the interior of a small flat, and it requires more creativity. Thankfully, creativity made it possible that functionality and design could coexist in this 47 square metres flat. Our customer wished for a comfortable, colorful, creative, and absolutely modern interior. Since we had to use a quite small floorspace, we had to rethink every question ranging from organising the interior to the very small details of decoration.
Many people think that small flats can be made more spacious by using less furniture, and are therefore not comfortable with using built-in furniture. This flat is an excellent example that this isn’t true – since the spectacle of the plasterboard designs made the feel of the interior more spacious, instead of being the other way round.
The well-thought design is always a thankful and useful strategic tool, since every square meter of a small flat has to be deliberately used. The cherry furniture fit perfectly into the chosen colors, since it’s a stylish element to every modern civic home.
